What does a clearance in Gothenburg cost?
The price of a clearance depends on several things – here we explain exactly what drives the cost so you know what you pay for and how to keep it down.
There is no fixed price per kilo – every job is unique. But the cost is almost always driven by the same four factors.
1. Volume
The biggest factor is the volume of belongings, measured in cubic metres or number of transports. A small flat costs far less than a full villa with garage and attic.
2. Access
Floors without a lift, narrow stairwells and long distances to the truck increase labour time and therefore price.
3. Sorting & recycling fees
Reusable items are free or valuable to donate, while hazardous waste and electronics carry tip fees. A well-sorted home is cheaper.
4. Cleaning afterwards
Only clearance, or also a move-out clean before sale or handover? Full cleaning is added on top.
